In just 39 years, Frédéric Chopin composed works for eternity. This autumn marks the 175th anniversary of his death, which is why we are dedicating this matinée to him. Alternating between concert and discussion, Prof. Gudrun Franke, professor of music at the University of Music and Theatre "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" Leipzig and co-founder of the New Leipzig Chopin Society, and host Gottfried Haufe will shed light on the life and work of the famous pianist and his influence on other musicians of the 19th and 20th centuries.
